Yes, it's always fine to change the format and/or field order of the inventory files you upload to us. We do need to adjust the upload filter we have in place for your data, otherwise the file may not be processed correctly. We'll just need a notice that the file you are sending has a different format and/or field order than the last file you uploaded.
If you plan to change the format or field order of your upload files, please request a new upload filter from the Upload listings page. Log in to your account and go to BiblioDirect bookseller tools menu, then click on the Inventory tab at the top of the page. You will find a link in the drop-down menu called Upload listings.
On that page you will see the option to browse for the file you want to upload. You'll also see the option to send the file as a purge and replace, as well as the box to check indicating that your file differs from the last one you uploaded.
Check the "This is a new or changed file format" box before uploading your file to make sure the upload filter we have in place is adjusted for the current data.
