How do I place my account on vacation?

Vacation Time!


Need a break? You can place your account on and remove it from vacation status at any time.  You just need to be logged into your BiblioDirect bookseller menu.


Going on Vacation


If your account is not on vacation, log in to your BiblioDirect bookseller menu and click on "Account". Then click on "Vacation Settings".  When you click that link, you will be taken to a page where you may select how many days you would like to be on vacation before your books are automatically reinstated for sale. 



Coming back from Vacation


If your account is already in vacation status, log in to BiblioDirect and click on "Account" from the menu, then "Vacation settings". You will see a button that says "Reinstate books now". Just click on that button.


Please allow some time for all of your active listings to go live in search again after returning from vacation status. Listings need to be re-indexed into our live search before you will see them live again. 



How long can I take a Vacation?


You can schedule vacations from your side for up to 90 days. If you need to temporarily remove your listings from Biblio for longer than 90 days, contact us at bookseller-support@biblio.com.


You can return your account from vacation at any time, regardless of any vacation schedule you have set up. Please allow 2 - 3 hours for all of your listings to be fully indexed into searches after returning from vacation. You do not need to do anything else with vacation settings in order to trigger that process. If you have returned from vacation and you don't see all your listings after a few hours, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to look into any potential issues.



PLEASE NOTE: While your bookseller account is set to vacation status, you must still provide for communication regarding orders that have already been processed.

Also note, the flat monthly fee will still be applied to your account while on vacation.
